“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.  It turns what we have into enough, and more.  It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity… Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” - Melody Beattie

Family is everything!  I am blessed with a storybook childhood.   My parents taught me so much, but I always come back to what I call “The Big Three” - to have Faith in God, to approach life with Optimism and always with a Healthy Sense of Humor!!

My mom and dad have always encouraged me to shoot for the moon and dream big, while keeping me balanced with  my feet planted firmly on the ground, humbled and grateful.

They are an inspiration to me to this day, at 90 years young.  They give back to their community, retain an optimism and thirst for learning new things, all while embracing the present.  They personify the quote:
“plant some tree’s you never intend to sit under.”

 ACT 2
One of my favorite expressions is “If you want to give God a good laugh, just tell Him your plans!”  Act 2 of my life threw me a few curveballs and detours…. But thanks to "The Big Three" that I learned in Act 1, I was able to persevere and make lemonade from the lemons!

My girls are my pride and joy.  Being a single mom presented challenges but we were quite a team!  Reflecting back, I know now it was a blessing and contributed to why my relationship with my daughters is so precious to me.  They have both grown into beautiful, responsible young ladies full of integrity and grace.  Thank you, Katie and Sarah for making me the most proud mom in all the world.  You both mean more to me than you can ever know.

ACT 3
About ten years ago as I was about to enter my third act, I finally learned to give up “my plans” and trust God to show me the way.
Funny how that works… soon after, I met the love of my life, Chuck McGregor and my entire life changed.  His love for me is why I’m here today and his unconditional support has let me follow my (sometimes crazy!) dreams and passions.

Thank you Chuck for allowing me to be me, and loving me because of that.  Everyday is a celebration with you!!  I want nothing more in this life than to make you proud and to feel like the most loved and appreciated man on earth!
