New Year Resolutions.... where would I be without them... probably in exactly the same place that I am now!
This year, I come back to the old favorite... eat healthy, exercise more and loose ten pounds! I've had the same resolution for most of my life, every year, same ten pounds!!
I resolve to spend less time on social media, computer games and other time wasting, mindless activities. I will be present in the moment and with the people I love, read more, learn more and even daydream a little bit more!
I resolve to re-focus my thoughts and activities on Gratitude and Giving Back... and by posting it here, it will keep me accountable and hopefully inspire others to do the same. It's not that I haven't been grateful or giving, but by not intentionally focusing on it, I haven't felt as fulfilled as I was when I did!
I think it's really true that "we are what we think about" so, to keep in the attitude of gratitude frame of mind I will keep a journal of my favorite gratitude or giving back moment of each day and share it here at the end of each month.
